The summer that nearly forgot New York is heading out and I'm clearing my desktop for fall business. I have quite
a selection of thought provoking articles to offer you in this update, as of 7 September, 2000. I have changed the message on the front page to alert readers of what I feel Women's Journeys is all about. After 3 years of crafting this site, I have finally published a couple articles by men because I think their political messages about the upcoming USA election are so important, I hope to spread the word with them. There's a little bit of everything, (minus glamor tips which you probably will never find here) with a great computer tip for your kids, (and you), a concert review, black bear warning, planning a party, women bikers, a sex article, a beautiful poem about a woman's love for her father, cleaning tips and the very popular quotes section has been updated. Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by and your continued support. Have a great Autumn,
Rochelle
COMPUTING
Teach your kids and yourself how to take screen shots By Hairfish
Have you ever wondered how to take pictures of what's on your monitor?
Tired of the kids saying, "Look at what I did, Mom!" Now you can teach them to save their masterpieces with a few easy steps so you can see all their accomplishments in one sitting.
GOOD VIBES
Close to the Edge with Yes By Rochelle Jourdan
I'm only 36 years old and the Close to the Edge "album" came out in 1972, when I was a mere 9 years of age, to see them perform it now was such a treat!
HEALTH
Delegating sex to where it belongs Anonymously submitted
I believe that whatever you want is normal – whatever your attitude towards sex, at whatever time of day, or life. It's normal, because it's what you want.
HOME IDEAS
Bird Feeders are Invitations to Hungry Bears By Rochelle Jourdan
Sleepily, I went to see what the commotion was all about, lo and behold, I saw Mr. or Ms. Bear, (I couldn't examine it that closely, y'know) eating bird seed from the demolished bird feeder in our back
yard.
Clean that Tub with this great tip! By Kt Van Meter
Clutter Arthur unknown
"I am Clutter," the mass answered, "and I am here to confound your life. I am the things you refuse to throw out though you haven't used them in six years, the miscellaneous papers, phone numbers,
business cards, and chatckas you accumulate and don't put away. I am the inevitable manifestation of your sloppiness. I am Clutter."

Pleasant Party Planning By Kay Chirichigno
Party planning in your home can be pleasant when done with the proper amount of planning.

I attended workshops aimed at helping women overcome barriers, physical, mental, etc. - encountered upon entering the motorcycling life. The theme of the conference was "The Road has been Paved -
Let's Ride! There are approximately 375,000 women motorcycle owners in the United States, which is said to be a conservative estimate.
POETRY
My Inner Voice By Michelle Duncan
There is a little voice inside my head that echoes words of wisdom said. "Honey, listen to your heart" you'd say What do Dads know anyway?
QUOTES
As of this issue, I have started putting the updated quotes in the main quotes
section as well distributed them accordingly within the section. There's a lot this time, keep sending them in!
RANTS
YEAH! No Chicks on theTix! A Letter from Michael Moore
Women put up with a lot of crap, but this year's Presidential farce has to take the cake. If you are one of the awake ones of the American Public, (you could be if you're reading Women's
Journeys) YOU can make a difference by learning more about the alternative candidates and voting your conscience this November. Let's Rock this Nation by not electing either major party!
The Anti-Nader Slogans of Fear By Steve Krulick
If you've been reading campaign editorials, or watching the beltway pundits, or even if you've merely hinted to people that you're "thinking of" voting for Ralph Nader for president, you've been
exposed to the "slogans of fear."
